The Minns Labor Government’s shared spaces program opened up almost 200 NSW public schools’ outdoor facilities during the school holidays for public use. Now we're expanding access by trialling the program during term time to give communities greater access to outdoor facilities such as playgrounds, multipurpose courts and ovals. 

The shared spaces trial will also provide more critical green space and outdoor recreation as more young people and families move into our area.

We are proud to be increasing access to sporting facilities, ensuring communities like ours have more opportunities to stay active and connected.

This initiative is delivered through the NSW Department of Education’s Share Our Space program, in collaboration with Blacktown City Council.

  • Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm
  • Weekends from 8 am to 5 pm

During school holidays, it will be open daily to
the public from 8 am to 5 pm.
